Dr. Liming Dai, PhD, P.Eng., ASME Fellow, is currently working at theUniversityofRegina,Regina,Canada, as Program Chair and Professor in Industrial Systems Engineering. His research is mainly on linear and nonlinear dynamics, wave propagation in porous media,vehicle dynamics, computer simulations, CAD, acoustics engineering, noise and ndustrial noise control, and EOR with seismic and vibration stimulations. He has published 7 books of monograph and more than 200 peer reviewed papers. He is the receiver of NSERC funds for 20 years and the receiver of DAS NSERC. In more than 30 institutions over 12 countries, he was invited to present his research results. He is currently a member of several international academic committees and also an organizer of many international conferences. Dr. Dai taught more than 20 different courses at a few postsecondary institutes for more than 20 years inCanada. He worked at a company RNG Pro-Tech as the plant manager and chief engineer.

戴黎明教授是加拿大里贾纳大学终身教授，工业系统工程系主任；美国机械工程师协会(ASME) Fellow。已发表二百余篇科技论文；七部学术专著。他是连续20年加拿大自然科学基金（NSERC）的获得者，同时是2010年加拿大DAS基金获得者。戴教授是两届国际会议的大会主席，二十余届ASME及其他国际会议分会主席。现任数个国际学术委员会的委员。过去数年曾应邀于12国30余学术单位讲学或学术报告。在过去二十余年中他曾在加拿大不同大学从事工业系统工程及机械工程的教育，讲授超过20门不同的本科和研究生课程。曾任加拿大RNG Pro-Tech厂长兼总工程师。
