1.    Chengdu East Railway Station→Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

Plan A: by bus

When you get off the train and out of therailway station,

lfollow the sign to the Chengdu East RailwayStation Bus Terminal nearby,

ltake a bus there to Xindu Bus Terminal (about26km or half an hour’s ride), and

ltransfer to another bus to SWPU (No.X44a, No.X44b, No. X43, No.X45 or No.650a) or take a taxi (about 4km).

Plan B: by metro and by SWPU shuttle bus

When you get off the train and out of therailway station,

ltake Metro Line 2 (toward Xipu) and get off atChunxi Road Station;

ltransfer to Metro Line 3 (toward Chengdu MilitaryGeneral Hospital) and then get off at Panda Avenue Station.

lFollow the sign and exit via D,

lwalk on the direction of downtown Chengdu about50m, turn right and you will come to the parking lot of Jindun Drivers’ School,where you can take a SWPU shuttle bus to your destination.

SWPU shuttle busschedule: There is a bus every half an hour or so. More buses are available atthe beginning of a semester and during holidays but fewer ones during thewinter or summer vacation.

SWPU shuttle buslogo: both sides of the bus bear the Chinese characters 西南石油大学 (Southwest PetroleumUniversity), and/or the front window has the Chinese characters西南石油大学学生专用车(exclusively for Southwest Petroleum University students) (it is actuallyavailable to staff members, students and their parents, and others).  

Plan C: by metro and then by bus

lTake Metro Line 2 (toward Xipu), and get off atChunxi Road Station,

ltransfer to Metro Line 3 and get off at Chengdu MilitaryGeneral Hospital Station, and exit via C;

lwalk about 290 meters to the Chengdu Military GeneralHospital Bus Stop to take the Xindu Metro Express bus (No.650a), and get off atSWPU Stop; your destination is 170m ahead.

Plan D: by high-speed railway train

lTake a Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan high-speed railwaytrain at Chengdu East Railway Station and get off at Xindu East Railway Station(the second stop),

lthen take a bus or a taxi at Xindu Bus Terminal,which is next to the railway station, to SWPU.

Please pay closeattention to the latest high-speed railway trains schedule, because some trainsdo not call at Xindu East Railway Station.

2.    Chengdu South Railway Station →Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

Note: The No. 650bus is the principal bus transport between downtown Chengdu and Xindu.

Plan B: by bus

lWalk about 450m to take a No.9 bus and get offat the Chengdu Military General Hospital Metro Station Stop, then

ltake the Xindu Metro Express bus (No.650a) there,get off at SWPU Stop, and your destination is 170m ahead.

PlanC: by metro and then by SWPU shuttle bus

Thereare two alternatives for this plan, which are as follows:

5.    ChengduShiling Bus Terminal →Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

Since no express bus is available from the ShilingBus Terminal to Xindu, you need to transfer:

Plan A: from No.G38 bus or No.136 bus toNo.650 bus

lTake a No.G38 bus or No.136 bus and get off at theSichuan-Shaanxi Interchange Curb Lane Stop on the Third Ring Road, then

lwalk about 440m to the Sichuan-ShaanxiInterchange North Stop on the Third Ring Road, get on a No.650 bus, and get offuntil you reach the SWPU Stop.

Plan B: from No.85 bus to No.650 bus

lTake a No.85 bus to the Sichuan-ShaanxiInterchange Curb Lane Stop on the Third Ring Road,

lthen walk about 440m to the Sichuan-ShaanxiInterchange North Stop on the Third Ring Road, get on a No.650 bus, and get offuntil you reach the SWPU Stop.

Plan C: from No.85 bus to No.652 bus

lTake a No.85 bus and get off at the North Lake BusStop, and

lwalk about 320m to the North Lake Bus Terminal,take a No.652 bus and get off until you reach the SWPU Stop.

6.    ChengduNorth Gate Bus Terminal→Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

Take a No. 650 bus at Chengdu North Gate Bus Terminal at Liangjiaxiangand get off the SWPU Stop.

Note: The No. 650bus is the principal bus transport between downtown Chengdu and Xindu.

7.    ChengduWuguiqiao Bus Terminal →Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

Since no express bus is available from theWuguiqiao Bus Terminal to Xindu, you need to transfer:
