On September 14^th, SWPU Vice President Guo Jianchun attended the "Professor Li Shilun’s Book Donation Ceremony " at the library, expressing sincere gratitude and high respect to Professor Li Shilun on behalf of the university.

Professor Li Shilun, aged 86, and his wife Wu Yongming attended the donation ceremony. The library has a special "Professor Li Shilun’s collection display shelf" in the reading room on the fifth floor, displaying all the personal books donated by Professor Li Shilun this time, including oil and natural gas monographs, textbooks, academic conference collections, etc., involving the languages of Chinese, English and Russian, a total of more than 800 volumes.

Professor Li Shilun is a prestigeous expert in the field of natural gas development in China. He started working at the university in 1960 and served as Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University from 1987 to 1995. He retired in 1995.（by Liu Zhongming）
