On July 10-11, the 3^rd Sichuan University Robot Competition was held at Southwest Jiaotong University. 63 SWPU delegations participated and won 5 first prizes, 16 second prizes, and 25 third prizes.

This competition attracted 282 delegations from 22 universities, including Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Southwest Jiaotong University and so forth. It has 3 themes: Creative Design of Home Intelligent Robots, Creative Competitive Magic Cube Robots, and Intelligent Robot Competition.

China University Robot Competition was launched in 2017. The first competition was jointly organized by the China Association of Higher Education, the Advisory Committee of Engineering Graphics Teaching of Ministry of Education, and the Organizing Committee of the China University Robot Competition.
