On December 6^th, the 5-day Sichuan Red Cross Society first aider training (Southwest Petroleum University Special Session) concluded, and this is the first special session for universities in Sichuan Province. After practical drills, trial teaching, and theoretical assessments, 22SWPU Faculty and Staff Members have obtained the Certificates for Red Cross First Aider.

The Sichuan Red Cross Rescue Center strictly follows the training outline for first aiders and adheres to standardized training. Through theory lecturing, on-site demonstrations, simulated operations and comments, group discussions, and demo teaching, the participating faculty and staff members took courses such as Basics of the Red Cross Movement, Rescue Introduction, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Trauma Rescue and so on.

Song Yao, Chairman of Sichuan Red Cross Society Rescue Center, stated that SWPU faculty and staff members showed high enthusiasm for learning, good atmosphere for competition, and therefore mastered the first aid skills in the end. She hoped that the trainees review the course and keep practicing so as to improve their first aid skills and rescue teaching proficiency.(Shu Lin)
